A high bun seems to be a great hairstyle no matter where you are...even at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios Japan :-)  Thank you for following my posts here and on Facebook!  I love sharing hair pictures with my friends around the world.

Hi everybody,

     Thank you for all the views, comments, likes and birthday wishes <3  I had a wonderful week celebrating my birthday in Japan, and am so happy to have a place like my blog and Facebook where I can share pictures and experiences with my friends around the world.
     Today I fixed my hair in a high bun that swirled up to look not unlike a strawberry-blonde Swiss roll.  Oooh, that reminds me of the wonderful birthday cake I had!  I certainly could go for another piece :-D

Dutch braid updo~ my look for today

Hi friends, 

     How fun to spend a few days visiting Universal Studios Japan. I find my Disney loyalty being severely challenged! Today I was in a hurry, so I fixed my hair in a Mohawk Dutch braid with a small accent braid on either side and a low bun. 

     One of my favorite moments was watching these cute twins share popcorn and enjoy a street dance performance. They completely stole the show~ I think I watched them more than I did the dancers :-)

     Several months ago I read on the internet about the beautiful Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto, Japan. How wonderful to be able to see this incredible place in person! I can honestly say it was as lovely as I had hoped.
     Close by was a historic Japanese temple surrounded by an impressive landscape full of the most colorful hydrangeas I have ever seen. On such a special afternoon, I'm glad I happened to be wearing my favorite color and hair bows :-)
