Dutch braid updo

Hi everyone,

     Thank you for following my blog!  I love combining braids in different hairstyles.  In this look, I combined two Dutch braids with a center 4-strand braid.  And side buns are always a fun way to show from the front view "I have hair!" rather than most buns which can't be seen until you turn around and leave the room :-)

     I love following Cute & Glossy braids on Facebook, and tried to [poorly] imitate the style of her beautiful braids in my hairstyle today.  Any day is a good day for a fancy braided updo :-)

Happy New Year 2017

Hello dear friends,

     Happy New Year!  I hope you had time to celebrate with family and friends.  How wonderful to enter the new year 2017 together!  I certainly appreciate your friendship~ thanks a thousand for following my blog and hairstyle posts.

     And now for my first hairstyle post of 2017!  My hairstyle today is a combination of lace braids and a low braided bun.  I clipped a small portion of hair near the top of my head.  Then I made my lace braids, one on each side.  With both lace braids, I began by adding hair from the center section.  I finished off the braids by gathering hair from the opposite side closest to my face.

Christmas Day Updo

A very Merry Christmas to you all!  I hope you have had a wonderful celebration with your family and friends, with good food and fun times~ and presents, of course :-)

Today I fixed my hair in a fancy Grecian style updo, and added a few new flower clips that I have been saving for just such a special occasion~

 

 

An especially fancy bun for Thanksgiving

     Today is Thanksgiving!  I fixed my hair in a style I saw online, with five braids interwoven below a high bun.  I love this look, and so did my family and friends who saw my hair today :-)

     Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a special time to share a meal with family and friends and think about how very much in life we have to be thankful for to God.  I love what I read one time~ There is always, always, always something to be thankful for <3

     Today I fixed my hair in a simple style I was reminded of after seeing a picture on the internet.  It is a rope headband braid and a lower French braid, a simple hairstyle that is quick to make.  Thank you for coming to visit my blog!
