Rope braids and a side bun, my hairstyle today

Hello friends,

     I hope you have a great weekend!  Thank you for coming by my blog.  Today I fixed my hair in several accent rope braids, and added a big side bun.  My bun is made from a larger rope braid.

     I've spent the afternoon looking at hairstyle pictures on Facebook, so much inspiration!  How fun to try out new ideas in the days and weeks ahead.

     Today I made two braided roses, and added flower clips that matched me outfit to make a flower headband.  Then I put the length of my hair into a braided side bun.  I love the fancy, extra-special look this hairstyle has.

Konnichiwa!

     Several months ago I read on the internet about the beautiful Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto, Japan. How wonderful to be able to see this incredible place in person! I can honestly say it was as lovely as I had hoped.
     Close by was a historic Japanese temple surrounded by an impressive landscape full of the most colorful hydrangeas I have ever seen. On such a special afternoon, I'm glad I happened to be wearing my favorite color and hair bows :-)
