Happy Halloween from Rapunzel and Pascal

Happy Halloween!  How fun to dress up as Rapunzel and pass out candy to the boys and girls who came trick-or-treating in my friends' neighborhood.  One of the little girls was dressed as Rapunzel, and I met several Queen Elsa's.  So sweet <3

 

 

 

   

 

 

Butterfly Braid in the evening

Hi friends,

     I washed my hair this morning, and took hair pictures later this evening.  I braided my hair in a butterfly fashion with lace braids, and added a long 3-strand braid that was looped up once to make my hair appear waist-length.  I love hairstyles that show a little bit of length :-)

Patchwork Braid

Hi everyone,

     The afternoon light was perfect for taking hair pictures~ I braided my hair in a mohawk French braid with a ponytail pull-through braid.  I tried to match the elastics in my braid to the colors of my patchwork-pattern shirt.  Pull-through braids are so much fun!  And they last perfectly all day long, without looking fuzzy or messy.  Thank you for coming to see my post!

 

Dutch Rapunzel Braid

Hi friends,

     I'm in love with side Dutch braids, especially when one is combined with a pull-through braid <3  Today I braided my hair in a side Dutch braid, then put my hair into a low ponytail.  I wrapped a little bit of hair around my ponytail holder, then braided the length of my ponytail in a pull-through braid.  When I reached a little past waist length on my braid, I tied my braid off then braided the rest of my hair in a simple 3-strand braid.  I brought this braid up underneath my pull-through braid, and wrapped it around the base of my ponytail.  This kept my Rapunzel-style braid at waist length, rather than full length.

Pull-Through Rapunzel Braid

Hello everyone,

     Animal print meets Rapunzel was my look for today.  I love pull-through braids.  This was my first time to make a sideways pull-through Rapunzel braid.  I started on one side of my head and brought my braid around and over my shoulder.  I love how my braid can be seen from the front view, instead of staying hidden behind my back.
