Hi everyone,

     I love following Cute & Glossy braids on Facebook, and tried to [poorly] imitate the style of her beautiful braids in my hairstyle today.  Any day is a good day for a fancy braided updo :-)

Rope Ladder

Hi friends,

     This braid looks complicated but it is actually rather simple~ as long as you have a second mirror so you can see the back of your head.  I made one rope waterfall braid, then added the loose strands from that braid into a second rope waterfall braid directly below, and then repeated the steps a third time.  I finished off my look with a side bun and matching hair bows.

5-strand Mohawk braid

Hi everyone,

     I hope you have a lovely day!  Thank you for coming to see my new blog post.  This morning I braided my hair in a center 5-strand Mohawk braid, then added a small waterfall braid on either side.  I put the length of my hair in a low ponytail, and made a pull-through braid about halfway down.  I tied off my pull-through braid and the halfway point, then continued braiding the rest of my length in a simple 3-strand braid which I brought up and wrapped around the base of my ponytail.  This explanation might sound complicated, but I think you will see from the pictures that it was actually fairly simple to do.

Criss-Cross Waterfall Braid

     I learned this braid from a YouTube video made by two friends, and loved it so much I decided to try it myself.  My braid ended up having fewer sections than the original, but I definitely will enjoy doing this braid again and again :-)

French Waterfall Updo

     Today I braided my hair in a waterfall braid, and drew the sections of my waterfall braid into a French braid.  I love the intricate look this hairstyle has, especially as I know just how easy it was to create!

Waterfall Headband

Today I fixed my hair in a waterfall headband braid with a low bun.  I love the stripe effect that the waterfall braid creates.  Thank you for coming to see my new post!  A kind friend who speaks French helped translate my letter, a special "bonjour" to everyone from France and other French-speaking countries who follows my blog <3

Curly Side Waterfall Braid

Here comes another waterfall braid! But, who doesn't love braids? Especially if they are curly and loose. The best thing about these braids is that the technique is very easy to achieve and they don't take a lot of time. You cant wear it for almost every event, ans easily combine clothes. Get ready for this fantastic & romantic side braid.

Begin by curling all of your hair loosely with a flat iron. Then backcomb all of your roots to add body and extra grip for the bobby pins. Section out the hair on the heavy side from your ear forward and clip it aside for later. Take the rest and put it in a low side ponytail. Only pull the hair halfway through the pony the last time to create a loop. Use your fingers to scrunch up and spread out the curls around the loop, bobby pinning the hair in place to create a messy bun. Let down the remaining hair and do a loose waterfall braid, drape the end of the braid across the top of the messy bun and secure it with bobby pins and finish with hairspray.
