Braided Hairstyles

Gossip: Adele Is Getting Engaged!

A source told The Daily Star: “Simon is so smitten that he’s also talked about popping the question as soon as her birthday in May. It falls over the bank holiday weekend so he may plan a trip away and do it then.”
The Brighton based businessman is said to be convinced that the singer is the one and the singer seems to feel the same.
The insider went on: “He knows she’s the one and Simon’s pals have never seen him so happy. He’s like a different person.”
“She said how she felt like she was ‘living a dream’. And she just kept gushing about this being the best relationship she had ever been in.” a friend revealed.
Even if Simon doesn’t decide to pop the question in May both of the pair are convinced they have found the “one” and are already planning a future together.
“They’ve spoken about their future plans, how they want to buy a huge house in the country and have two or three kids.” The source added.

Easy Crimps without heat

This is a really easy way to make crimps without using a heat.
When she gets out of the bath/shower at night take small sections of hair and make simple braids all over (make the same size braid for even crimps)
In the morning make sure they are all dry and then pull the braids out and below is the crimped result.
We use this method all the time/

4 Simple Braids

This is one of those styles when you need something cute and quick.  It takes only a few minutes
Make a small square part and then braid it to the ends.
Make a 2nd small square part and braid it to the ends.
Do the exact same thing on the other side.  (I lined my braids across from each other)
Pull each of the braids back into the center of the back of her head.  You may have to pull the front braids looser so they lay flat.
Secure them with an elastic.
We then accessorized with the latest fad that we call hair streaks.  If you want to make your own here is the link. http://www.mom-stuff.com/public/441.cfm

Outie Sides Up Braids

As you all know we love braids in our family this is yet another way to braid the hair.
I started by making an outie (outward) french braid only to pull the sides up.  The above is the right side of her head.
Below do the same thing on the left side the only difference it that this side will have more hair to be braided
Combine the 2 braids together in the back of her head and secure with an elastic.

Fish Tail Side Ponytail

Take and comb the hair as if you were making a simple side ponytail then split the hair into 2 and make a very short fish tail braid I pulled about 10 times is all on the braid..  Then secure with an elastic.
I put a few big ringlets in her ponytail to finish off the style.

Toddler Sides Up

I have not done too many toddler styles lately because well let me just be honest my toddler has a mind of her own and hates getting her hair done.  I used to think that kids with a sensitive head was because the parents never did their hair. Wow was I wrong, my toddler has such a sensitive head that it hurts just to pull her sides up.  With that said I did manage to get pictures of this fun simple style.

First I took a small amount of the front of her hair and pulled it to the side and secured it with an elastic.
Then I pulled both the sides back into a single ponytail securing it with an elastic.
A short explanation on the hair accessory.  In our schools the new fad for girls is to take embroidery floss and mixing 2 colors together, and putting it together on a bobbie pin.  I will post a link to instructions on how to make your own hair accessories.
If this fad hasn't hit your daughters school then you can be the first.
