Patchwork Braid

Hi everyone,

     The afternoon light was perfect for taking hair pictures~ I braided my hair in a mohawk French braid with a ponytail pull-through braid.  I tried to match the elastics in my braid to the colors of my patchwork-pattern shirt.  Pull-through braids are so much fun!  And they last perfectly all day long, without looking fuzzy or messy.  Thank you for coming to see my post!

 

Blue Autumn Updo

Hi friends,

I'm visiting in America now, and the weather here is beginning to turn cold.  It was definitely sweater weather today :-)  I braided my hair in a combination of a lace braid, a Dutch braid, and a French braid.  I love the way they go together and compliment one another.  Thank you for coming to see my post!

 

Mermaid Tail Braid

Hi friends,

     I hope you are all safe and happy, wherever you are in the world.  Today I fixed my hair in a style that reminded me of a mermaid tail, a combination of a mohawk Dutch braid and a loose cage braid.  I used the end of my length to make a rose bun as an accent, and added a few bobby pins to make sure everything stayed in place.  I love the Bohemian feel that this hairstyle has <3

  

  

Faux Basket Weave Updo

Hi friends,

     My look for today was simple to create but looks complicated.  I made three 4-strand push-up braids, then put the rest of my loose hair into a low bun.  I arranged my three push-up braids across the top part of my hair, and noticed that they had a basket weave look (that was much easier than an actual basket weave effect!)  I love push-up braids, they are the perfect accent braid to any hairstyle.

 

 

 

 

Criss-Cross Waterfall Braid

Hi friends,

     I learned this braid from a YouTube video made by two friends, and loved it so much I decided to try it myself.  My braid ended up having fewer sections than the original, but I definitely will enjoy doing this braid again and again :-)
